TOGETHER THROUGH TRAUMA JOB OPENINGS

Center for Families and Relationships is excited to hire passionate staff for our Together Through Trauma program. Hours and locations vary for these positions, as the work occurs at various partner locations and recreation centers throughout Philadelphia. Working with the Together Through Trauma program is incredibly rewarding, and gives you an opportunity to make a lasting change in communities impacted by the violence epidemic in Philadelphia.

FULL TIME TRAUMA THERAPIST, TOGETHER THROUGH TRAUMA PROGRAM

A full time trauma therapist in the Together Through Trauma Program will provide both trauma therapy and educational workshops for community members who have been directly impacted by gun violence trauma out of Philadelphia Parks and Recreation (PPR), recreation centers. Therapists will be supervised by a licensed supervisor who is also dual trained in evidenced based trauma services. Reports to the Program Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Build relationships with parks and recreation staff at each the of the three assigned recreation centers.
-Collaboratively work with PPR facility supervisors to develop a schedule of trauma workshops that will be provided three times each month at each of the three recreation centers they are assigned.
-Create curriculum for trauma workshops, working with Director of Development and Communications for help with marketing the workshops.
-Schedule monthly staff trainings with recreation staff and community partners to provide education and support around secondary traumatic stress.
-Provide 15 hours of trauma therapy per week.
-Provide 4 hours of in-office time at each recreation center per week.
-Attend weekly clinical supervision with Program Director.
-Develop positive and trusting relationships with clients.
-Attend trainings as assigned.
-Complete all required clinical documentation according to CFAR policy.
-Work collaboratively with peer specialist and family engagement coordinator to ensure timely follow-up and client connection to community resources.
-Participate in weekly program meetings.
-Other duties as assigned by the Program Director

POSITION QUALIFCATIONS
Professional Experience/Education Requirements
-Must have at least a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology or related field.
-Therapist must be working towards licensure in the state of PA and present license upon receipt.
-Previous trauma experience is a plus

FULL TIME OUTREACH SPECIALIST, TOGETHER THROUGH TRAUMA PROGRAM

Center for Families and Relationships is seeking a Full-Time Outreach Specialist to work in our Together Through Trauma Program, operating out of several Philadelphia Recreation Centers. This position will help increase client/family engagement in workshops and therapeutic services.  This position will have a special focus on community outreach and engagement providing an additional layer of support to families in need of services.  A person with lived experience is preferred. This position reports directly to the Program Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Reach out to community partners and attend community events in zip codes within close proximity to assigned Recreation Centers to help recruit referrals into the program and build relationships within the community.
-Collect contact information for interested community members at events, reaching out to them after the events to invite them to workshops.
-Assist in identifying barriers keeping community members from attending workshops.
-Assist with warm handoffs to therapeutic services.
-Ensure community members are regularly being contacted about upcoming workshops and events.
-Help clients get connected to social determinants of health resources as identified in the intake or throughout treatment.
-Connect clients with outside resources and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation programming as appropriate.
-Spend at least 3 days each week in assigned Recreation Centers to build strong relationships with parks and recreation staff and building relationships with the community.
-Assist with onboarding new clients/families. Follow-up with those missing initial appointments to help engage them in the program.
-Help with 30,60 and 90 day follow up to those discharged from the program.
-Assist therapists in running the community trauma workshops to help community members feel more comfortable.
-Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Professional Experience/Educational Requirements
-A self-identified current or former user of mental health or co-occurring services who can relate to others who are now using those services.
-High school diploma or GED
-Demonstrated proficiency in reading and writing.

FULL TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, TOGETHER THROUGH TRAUMA PROGRAM

The Administrative Assistant supports the administrative functions of the program under the direct supervision of the Together Through Trauma, Program Manager. The position will manage all office functions to include: answering phone calls, transferring messages, managing referrals, scheduling intakes, managing office supplies and many other related tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Answer incoming calls, take messages and forward as necessary, check voicemail several times throughout the day.
-Collect new client information over the phone and schedule intake appointments.
-Answer questions regarding services offered.
-Manage referrals, respond to emails from the CFAR website and community partners regarding referrals within 24 hours. Keep management informed of any concerns with scheduling clients in a timely manner.
-Assist with scheduling meetings and ordering food when needed for community workshops.
-Assist with correspondence, complaints and queries.
-Prepare letters, presentations, reports as requested.
-Maintain an inventory list of office supplies and submit it to the Office Manager on a monthly basis. Manage office supply budget.
-Work collaboratively with Outreach Specialist around data collection.
-Participate in weekly staff meetings.
-Any special projects assigned accordingly by senior staff/upper management.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Professional Experience/Educational Requirements

-High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate’s Degree in Business Administration Preferred.
-2 to 3 years of clerical, secretarial or office experience.
