CFAR accepts interns from LaSalle University, Drexel University, Chestnut Hill College and Holy Family University who are at least in their second year of their Marriage and Family Therapy Program and who have taken most of their core classes. Interns are well trained and receive regular supervision to enhance their clinical skills.
CFAR interns are required to work for a full 12 month period and dedicate at least 15 hours a week to the organization. CFAR takes MFT Interns and Art Therapy Interns. MFT Interns are supervised by an AAMFT Approved Supervisor or Supervisor Candidate training to become an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Art Therapists are supervised by a registered, board certified art therapist.
We take interns in January, May/June and September. Interviews are held 3 to 4 months before the start time.
