CFAR closed out our fiscal year with a complicated mix of pride, optimism, and concern. We proudly served over 2,700 clients with therapy services, and nearly 1,000 unique participants through community workshops. We also connected with many people through outreach, community events, and staff trainings. Through our work in Philadelphia’s underserved communities, it is very clear that the need for mental health services and education there is higher than ever. Unfortunately, access is becoming an even bigger issue than it already was with the rollout of Medicaid cuts. CFAR’s own growth plans have been impacted by these cuts, but we remain dedicated to our goal of serving more clients in the new fiscal year. We are building strategic partnerships, exploring opportunities, and working on increasing grants and donations to help us reach that goal. If you have partnership or funding opportunities that align with CFAR’s work or please reach out to development@cfarcounseling.org. Thank you to to all of our friends and supporters for helping us make sure that all Philadelphia families have access to high quality mental health services!
