On Saturday, January 11th, the CFAR team enjoyed another wonderful annual staff party. After an incredibly busy year, we welcomed the chance to celebrate and connect. During the party, the new folks were clued in to why CFAR refers to our team as “geese” sometimes. Geese fly in a V formation, and when the lead goose tires, they fly to the back and another goose will take its place. It’s very similar to how a healthy family system can operate so that one person can step back if they need to, and someone else in the family will step up. This philosophy is also important on the CFAR team, where we strive to have a community of therapists supporting each other, and getting much farther by working together!
